What Is Enrichment-Oriented Pet Care?

Enrichment Enhancements

Add purpose to their playtime.

For pets who benefit from a little more stimulation, novelty, problem-solving, movement, or sensory engagement, enrichment can be incorporated into eligible Paw by MC visits.

Depending on the pet, enrichment may include activities such as:

  • Sniffing and foraging games

  • Treat searches and “sniffaris”

  • Puzzle and problem-solving activities

  • Lick, chew, or food-based enrichment

  • Movement and exploration activities

  • Confidence-building exercises

  • Calm and decompression activities

  • Novel textures, objects, sounds, or experiences

  • Pet-specific games based on known preferences

Activities are selected intentionally rather than randomly. Your pet's behavior and response help determine what is appropriate during future visits.

Best for:

Dogs and cats who are curious, energetic, easily bored, food motivated, playful, or simply enjoy having something interesting to do.
